Is error a blessing or a curse?
I tell people that I paint God's mistake but I don't actually create error. My work is an expression of fracture and limitation that is necessarily associated with our conscious power to observe. Everything we notice in life is less than the possibilities. I find this fractured limitation to be a sign of prosperity, opportunity, hope and trust. More importantly I find our limited observation powers to be a validation that we can never lock innocence into a finite destiny because we cannot claim to perceive the finality of innocence. I cherish the certainty of such freedom for innocence and feel humbled that I am entitled to a relationship with innocence through error.
